Notes:  The proportional font (based on Arial TTF) supplied with Arachne has font sizes 1 and 2 set equal, whereas in Jake's font set (based on Verdana and Times New Roman) the font sizes 6 and 7 are set equal.   At the time of writing, the "right smart quote" in Jake's font set (* ’ * - capital Z with caron in the original Arachne proportional font) has not been tweaked to look "smart".   The vertical alignment of Jake's font set needs altering: it does not match the baseline used by the fixed width font in the left hand column below.   Jake's font set is included (as 'New') with GlennMcC's ALT-FONT.APM for quick and easy font-swapping on the fly.
